Kedumba Drawing Award

Alan Daniel Jones is one of six artists to be announced as the winners of the 2010 Kedumba Drawing Award. Jones’ drawing, titled ‘That's the Way It Is #12’, depicts a series of life drawings layered with collage and cotton thread sewn through the watercolour paper.

The list of 2010 Kedumba Drawing Award’s winning artists includes: Suzanne Archer, David Eastwood, Annette Iggulden, Alan Daniel Jones, Adriane Strampp and Mary Tonkin.

The guest judge for the 2010 Kedumba Drawing Award was Peter Sharpe (artist).

Alan Daniel Jones

Alan Daniel Jones is an Australian contemporary visual artist. In 2000, Jones gained his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Art School in Sydney before furthering his education abroad as a recipient of the 2004 Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship. Jones's work has won multiple awards and has been exhibited throughout Australia, the UK, and Asia.
